About the Role
Under general supervision, independently perform a variety of clerical activities and related tasks such as, but not limited to, accounts receivable and accounts payable, compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities. Responsible for additional clerical duties as needed. Work is periodically reviewed to verify compliance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements
Primary duties include:
• Perform accounts payable, billings and other administrative tasks for our Marketing operation
• Perform accounts receivable functions, not limited to preparing invoices and sales orders
• Responsible for follow-up and contact of clients pertaining to Accounts Receivable
• Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments
• Prepare Accounts Receivable Aging reports to Chief Financial Officer
• Ensure accurate delivery of daily bank deposits
• Responsible for daily filing
• Assist with generating month end reporting pertaining to wine inventory
• Assist with harvest essential accounting functions
• Generates standard reports as needed
• Routinely work a 40-hour week providing ongoing customer and program support
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• QuickBooks Knowledge
• Associate degree in related field
Experience, Knowledge Skills, & Abilities:
• QuickBooks or accounting software experience
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated; able to start and complete projects and tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to cope well under pressure

Working Conditions:
Work schedule is 40 hours, Monday through Friday. Working environment is a busy office setting. Varying degrees of activity occur in the common areas during working hours; tasks will involve long periods of time standing in addition to long periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Incumbent must be able to work amid distraction.
Compensation & Benefits:
• $18.00-25.00 per hour DOE
• Medical Package, after 90-days

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Adjustment to work schedule, occasional overtime, weekend work, and travel outside Grant County to attend conferences or training may be required.
